The French Connection - Hockey, Buffalo, NY
This incredible statue sits in front of the Buffalo Sabres Stadium in downtown Buffalo. The French Connection line was the NHL's most explosive combination in the history of the game. The nickname, given to the Buffalo Sabre's forward line, played from 1972 until 1979. The line consisted of Hall of Famer Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, and Rene Robert. All three players were French-Canadians from Quebec.
