World's Largest Ronald Reagan Statue, Covington, LA

This 15 foot bronze statue claims to be the world’s largest full bodied statue of the Gipper, Ronald Reagan . It sits at the trailhead of the Tammany Trace Park in Covington, LA. 
A tribute to Reagan by a local oil tycoon Patrick F. Taylor, owner of Taylor Energy Company, one of the 400 richest men in the world, and a good friend of Ronald Reagan. Fortunatly next to the  Heiner Brau: Downtown Microbrewery and Museum

    Note, the base was installed upside down by the installers and instead of putting it upright, Reagan sits upon an upside down pedestal that is wider at the top than the bottom. Pretty much describes his presidency, upside down and no one cared enough to fix it.
