Live Tiger at Truck Stop, Grosse Tete, LA
I guess Tony was a little tired when I got to his home at Grosse Tete. I could see him sleeping in his house, his tail swaying to and fro. The cage is nice and unique, even though it is a truck stop. They seem to take good care of him, but his stay in Grosse Tete, LA is filled with some environmental controversy. Tony is 11 years old and this tiger right off of I10 just past Baton Rouge is in the middle of Bayou Country. It is right down the road from the Swamp Shop (Choot em Liz'beth) and one of the weirdest museums in Abita Springs LA I have ever seen.
