Her statue stands at Harvin Clarendon County Library in Manning, SC, a tribute to Peggy Parish, a Manning resident who created this beloved character. The library is on North Brooks Street not far from the Swamp Fox murals, also in town. The book was illustrated by Fritz Siebel.
