Originally in front of the Rockingham, NC Coble Dairy Distribution center, this oversized quart container on a short pole stands at the edge of the Mary L. Farm in Mount Ulla, NC. Left for scrap at the dairy facility, the carton found its way into the hands of farm owner Richard Parker. His farm was producing milk for Coble at the time it was closed and Parker asked for the carton, which he removed from the site in the back of his pick-up, and with the help of the local National Guard, placed at the end of his driveway, where it has been for over thirty years.
