Twin Statue of Liberties atop Buildings, Buffalo, NY
These
twin rooftop Liberty statutes sit high atop the Liberty building in downtown
Buffalo, New York. Originally they were advertisements for the Liberty Bank
that sat on this spot until the 1980’s before moving to the Fountain Square
area. The statues face east and west, are 30 feet tall, over 300 feet high in
the city’s skyline and were sculpted by Italian artist Leo Lentelli in 1925.
