Art Car Museum, Houston, TX
Welcome to the "Garage Mahal" based out of the Art Car movement in Houston and was the lead for the Art Car Parade and the International Art Car Movement.. The museum was founded by Ann Harithas, artist and long-time supporter of the Art Car movement, and James Harithas. This is just the tip of the Art Car Ice burg as the best of the best are on display each year in this fabulous museum, All are displayed each spring at the annual Houston Art Car Parade featuring all types of rolling art. 
The Art Car Parade began in April, 1988 with a 40 car parade seen by an estimated 2,000, now in 2012 it is over 250 cars and this amazing annual event is the talk of Houston. Entries also include unicycles, go carts and lawnmowers now. Amazing, but this year is the 25th Anniversary of this fantastic festival.
