Frank and Teressa'a Anchor Bar was established in 1935.
The Bar is the  Home of the Original Buffalo Chicken Wings created by Teresa as a late night snack for friends who arrived very late and very hungry at her bar in 1964. Originally intended for chicken stock she served them to her guests with a round of drinks. The rest of the story is history. The wings are now world famous and always served traditionally with celery and bleu cheese dressing just like the first night that they were served.
