Horsing Around Downtown, Stamford, CT
In my travels around Stamford, CT I came across a brightly painted horse on one of the street corners. Directly across the street, on each corner of the intersection, stood three more. I continued around the city and discovered a good many sculptures of these Art Horses, in fact the city claims a herd of over 40 life-sized horse sculptures around the city posing in rearing, running and grazing positions in the streets and parks of downtown Stamford. Apparently this is a program of the DSSD's Art in Public Places summer exhibit, "Horsing' Around Stamford Downtown."
