Mayberry Andy and Opie Statue, Raleigh, NC

STATUE OF ANDY AND OPIE - Visited this site several times during our swim meets at the Pullen Aquatic Center next to the campus of North Carolina State in Raleigh, NC. TV Lands tribute. Apparently an identical statue resides in Mt. Airy, NC. the town that the TV show was based on and has the Mayberry Sheriff's Office, Wally's Service Station (Goober) and an authentic Mayberry Police Car, Floyd's Barber Shop
