Giant Margarita, Greenwich Village, New York, NY

Giant Margarita, Greenwich Village, New York, NY

I worked up quite the thirst walking to this bar on the edge of the West Village. Quickly quenched by the sight of a Giant Margarita (strawberry) frothing over the lip of a glass with a lime wheel. Located right off 7th Avenue (you can't miss it) Caliente Cab Company has been serving delicious Margaritas and authentic Mexican fare since 1984. A 1950 Studebaker Yellow Cab (it has a mustache) is parked on the curb out front. A true Roadside America junkies goldmine, because a trip to the Giant Margarita passes the Trailer Park Lounge, Jekyll and Hyde Club, the Hess Triangle and the Locksmith Shop covered with keys. Most patrons on the huge patio outside were enjoying 24-ounce frozen margaritas served in souvenir hurricane glasses.
